What a busy summer! Thanks to my clients and multiple orders, the shop has been busy and not much time for blogging. I was travelling back from a family reunion in Indiana, and waiting in the airport for my plane ride back to Richmond, VA by way of Atlanta.

Jodi contacted me and asked if I could make her a set of cornhole trophies for a 60+ guest tournament that she hosts in her back yard with VCU Medical Center/VA Hospital system doctors. Quite a crew and I’m glad I had the opportunity to show my skills!

We agreed on the price, and she wanted the wording of “ Tequila Jo’s 2014 Cornhole Tournament First Place” woodburned onto the base of the trophy.

Jodi and I actually bartered a little too (which is always fun!) and I got some nifty wine glasses from her Etsy shop along with a small payment.

She was also local, so we arranged to meet up after I completed the trophies and swap the wine glasses for trophies.
